ExtremeTix, Inc, announced today it will introduce a new service designed to assist outdoor festivals, events and concerts in combating ticket fraud. ExtremeTix is the first and only ticketing provider to use the advanced security of the 2-D Datamatrix barcode system and has combined this technology with full-color 4ID™ security wristbands manufactured by 4ID Solutions. This new wristband is a component of the Securetix™ system from ExtremeTix.

After a six-month search to find a wristband that was durable enough to stand up to immersion in mustard, beer and sunscreen or “Woodstock Testing”, ExtremeTix found their solution with high quality wristbands manufactured by 4ID Solutions. The proprietary digital printing process used by 4ID Solutions allows full color wristbands to be printed in photographic quality and include variable data such as the 2-D barcode for enhanced security.

The new SecureTix ticket fraud prevention system with 4ID™ wristbands is available nationwide from ExtremeTix and will be demonstrated at several industry expositions including the International Fairs and Expositions Association (IFEA), World Waterpark Association (WWA) and the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Attractions Expo by both companies .
