Houston, TX, (November 23, 2009) – ExtremeTix, Inc. announced that Sherry Dye has joined the company as Sales Director and will head up its Southeast Operations based in Tampa, Florida.

Sherry has a wealth of knowledge and experience on both sides of the entertainment industry as a presenter of motorsports arena events and as a general manager in the electronic ticketing field.  In 1988, she began a 20 year career in ticketing as general manager of Ticketmaster operations in Tampa.  Both her tenacity and customer service focus allowed her to develop the Central Florida market and establish the strong relationships within the entertainment industry that she still enjoys.

“It was refreshing to fin ExtremeTix at a time when other companies are more focused on enhancing shareholder value that providing great customer service”, Sherry said.  “I am thrilled to be representing ExtremeTix in The Southeastern US as its Regional Sales Director”.  Sherry currently serves as a Board Member for the SMS Foundation and has worked with many charities locally to promote education and service.  She also serves as a Board Member for the Tampa Bay Sports Commission and has been a member of the Florida Facility Managers and the Stadium Managers Association for over two decades.
