ExtremeTix utilizes a sophisticated two dimensional barcode that provides the highest degree of authentication and admission security possible. Unlike the more familiar linear barcode seen on most food and mass market products (and many tickets), the 2D barcode style utilized by ExtremeTix contains dramatically more information and redundant safeguards. Through intelligent design and forethought, the ExtremeTix system can continue to properly scan and authorize entry even if there are interruptions to the on-site server or Internet link.
